Georgia, Tbilisi, July 22 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
Georgian ambassador to the USA Batu Kutelia welcomes visit of U.S vice-president Joseph Biden in Tbilisi and makes several forecasts.
Kutelia told media that cooperation between Georgia and the USA in military, security, economy, culture and other spheres becomes clearer. He said that occupied territories, the most morbid issue for Georgia, will be first discussed during Biden's visit.
Kutelia said that EU supervising mission should be expanded. "Extension of EU supervising mission is one of our tasks. Thus, talks are being held with the USA. If this decision is made, it will create terms for the USA to take role of mediator together with EU," he said.
Ambassador said that it means that entire democratic world together with EU and the USA will be political power with the help of which Georgia will solve many problems.
He also stressed that U.S participation in Nabucco project approval points to grave interests of the USA on Caucasus. Therefore, Georgia is part of these interests.
