During his official visit to Romania, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Sept 29 visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Tei Park in Bucharest, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Head of State and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva was welcomed by the mayor of the second sector of Bucharest Nicholai Ontsyan. Mehriban Aliyeva was presented a bouquet of flowers.
Gathered in the park, local residents, students, activists of the Azerbaijani diaspora, Azerbaijani students studying at the universities of Romania, met President Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva with applause.

Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva walked through the park, talked with local residents and representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora, as well as took a photo with the children.
