Azerbaijani customs officials prevented the importation of a large consignment of mobile phones.
"KAMAZ" truck moving from Iran to Azerbaijan and driven by Siyaset Rasulov was checked in the cargo department of the Astara customs office, the State Customs Committee said.
Five plastic bags with 99 mobile phones of 25 different models and 656 accessories were found in the bags with calcium carbonate, registered for Baku resident Firuddin Najafov.
The investigation is underway.
