Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov. 24 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will make an official visit to Moldova today.
Saakashvili will visit Chisinau upon Moldovan Acting President Mihai Ghimpu's invitation, the Georgian Presidential Press Service told Trend.
Saakashvili will meet with Ghimpu in Chisinau.
After a tet-a-tet meeting, the official delegations will hold a meeting.
Saakashvili will also meet with the leaders of various political parties in Moldova.
It should be noted that Moldovan ex-President and Communist leader Vladimir Voronin has refused to meet with the Georgian leader.
The Georgian president's visit program also includes a trip with Ghimpu to the Obileni village - a construction site where houses are being built with the support of the Georgian government for Moldovan citizens who were affected by floods this summer.
