Iran is to hold maritime military exercises "Vilayat-90", Iranian Navy Commander, Admiral Habibullah Sayari was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.
Sayari said the place and date of the exercises will be announced shortly.
This week, the Islamic Republic of Iran has started the Great Prophet 6 (Payambar-e Azam) exercises. On the first day of the exercises, Iran introduced the tank missiles fired from an underground launcher and tested the rocket "Fateh-10."
Tehran stated that Great Prophet 6 exercises are held solely to demonstrate the ability of defense and launched under the slogan of "peace and friendship."
