The Uzbek Foreign Ministry's leadership on Tuesday held a meeting with a U.S. delegation led by Kurt Amend, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, U.S. Department of State, the Foreign Ministry reported.
"During the talks the sides exchanged views on issues of the Uzbek-U.S. relations and issues of development of situation in the region," the report reads.
U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan George Krol attended the meeting.
