The Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan on their greetings to the participants of the Eurasian and Asian Media Forum (EAMF) in Astana expressed the hope that representatives of Media will have an effective dialogue, Trend correspondent reported from the Forum.
Particularly, Nursultan Nazarbayev called EAMF as one of the authoritative dialogue area for discussing the media improvement issues.
"The EAMF has become an authoritative dialogue area for discussing the media improvement issues," Baglan Mailybaev, deputy head of presidential administration read out of the greetings from President Nazarbayev.
"EurAsEC, CSTO and the Customs Union created by the initiative and active participation of Kazakhstan," Nazarbayev said. "It promises great prospects for cooperation between our countries."
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's greetings, read out by Alexei Malinin Deputy Minister of Russian Communications and Mass Communication, noted that "Astana - capital of friendly Kazakhstan, is hosting the sixth FEAM.
"Journalist's speed of work has an increasing importance. It is important that accurate and objective information remained the main criteria for the professional media. And, of course, modern journalists need to have a broad vision, guiding by principles of tolerance and respect for the traditions of different nations in their work," Medvedev noted.
