Chairman of the Consultative Council of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al ash-Sheikh will arrive in Tashkent on Monday for bilateral negotiations. the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The program of the visit includes meetings with the leaders of both houses of parliament, government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.
Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia has granted each other the most favored nation treatment. The chambers of commerce of both countries signed an agreement on cooperation. The intergovernmental agreement on air services was signed in April 2009. The relationships between the two countries are also developing within the framework of OIC and IDB.
Agreement was reached to invest in the 20 priority projects in Uzbekistan in the field of health, education, energy, transport and infrastructure development at a meeting of Arab Coordination Group in 2007, which was attended by representatives of the Saudi Development Fund.
