President Ilham Aliyev inspected the buildings of the Intellect school-lyceum in Sabail district and school No49 in Yasamal district here after major overhaul.
President Ilham Aliyev first viewed the newly-reconstructed Intellect school-lyceum.
The Head of State saw a photo stand reflecting the present and previous look of the building.
Baku mayor Hajibala Abutalybov updated the President on the work done here. Rebuilding work here began in May 2012. The two-storied building has 51 classrooms, gym, assembly halls, three computer rooms and other facilities.
The Head of State got familiar with the conditions created in classrooms.
President Ilham Aliyev examined the newly-rebuilt secondary school No21 named after 20 January shahid Eldar Mammadov in the Yasamal district.
The Head of State saw photographs depicting previous and present look of the building.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed about rebuilding work.
In accordance with the state program, the school received 16 more classrooms.
The Head of State became acquainted with classrooms, labs and other facilities.
The bust to 20 January shahid Eldar Mammadov was restored in the school. A memorial center to Eldar Mammadov was established at the school`s entrance. The additional building, gym, assembly hall, canteen and sport ground are under construction at present.
The Head of State gave necessary instructions related to the work done here.
