Politician: No concrete steps taken on issue of cooperation between opposition blocks

Although the so-called Public Chamber (PC) gave verbal consent to the letter of the Advisory Council of Democratic Forces (ACDF) on cooperation, the necessary steps on this issue weren't taken yet, Chairman of the Azadliq party Ahmed Orudj told Trend on Friday.

He noted that the issue of cooperation between the so-called Public Chamber and Advisory Council of Democratic Forces in wide format is not yet clarified yet.

"We have applied to then in connection with cooperation and they verbally expressed their consent. The form of cooperation should be discussed. However, according to my information, there are forces in the so-called Public Chamber, which opposes this cooperation," Orudj said.

Although in general they agreed to cooperate, there are issues of specific meetings and joint activities on the agenda yet.

Deputy Chairman of the PPFA, a member of the so-called Public Chamber Fuad Gahramanli said, expressing his attitude to the issue, that this cooperation is likely to be functional in nature.

"The so-called Public Chamber has a positive attitude to the issue of cooperation with the Advisory Council, and this cooperation is likely to be functional in nature. Discussions on special issues can be held in the future," Gahramanli said.

Advisory Council of Democratic Forces filed appeal on cooperation to the so called Public Chamber on September.
