The opposition wants to use the incident in Ismayilli region in political purposes, Azerbaijani MP Fuad Muradov said today.
"Of course, the opposition will use this," he told Trend today. "This case is as a gift for them. They are trying to demonstrate the incident in each region as a problematic situation. They call it as a revolt, but there is a reality."
Azerbaijani people are very vigilant people. They have an objective position regarding any incident, MP said.
The investigation on the incident in Ismayilli region is underway. The Prosecutor General's Office and the Interior Ministry have preliminary views on the incident, Muradov said.
"I believe that the investigation will fully inform the public and the culprits will be punished," he added.
He has regretted that this incident occurred in Ismayilli region.
He has also expressed confidence that the state will take the necessary measures towards the culprits.
An incident occurred in Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan at 21:30 (local time) yesterday night. As a result, the Chirag hotel and four different cars were burnt.
The city of Ismayilli is in the north-east of Azerbaijan, 174 kilometres away from Baku.
