The murder of opposition leader Chokri Belaid is directed against democracy in Tunisia, leader of the ruling An-Nahda party Rachid Ghannouchi said, Anadolu agency reported on Saturday.
Ghannouchi said there are forces that want to aggravate the situation in the country.
One of the opposition leaders Chokri Belaid was killed in Tunisia on February 6.
Clashes between police and demonstrators took place at his funeral.
