President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received an Afghan delegation led by Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul.
The Afghan FM conveyed President Hamid Karzai`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.
They praised the Azerbaijan-Afghanistan relations, saying they were developing in a variety of areas.
They emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan`s participation in Afghanistan-related international projects. They expressed confidence the two countries would continue cooperation in educational, healthcare and other fields.
President Ilham Aliyev asked the Afghan FM to pass on his greetings to President Hamid Karzai.
