The visit of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Azerbaijan is scheduled for the autumn, Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makey told reporters in Baku on Tuesday.
According to him, the exact date will be agreed through diplomatic channels.
As Makey noted, at yesterday's meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, the head of state instructed the preparation of a number of promising projects on trade and economic cooperation, contributing to the further deepening and broadening of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
"Specific projects are already available. These are in the creation of joint ventures, cooperation in various fields and development of agriculture. Currently, representatives of our relevant ministries and businesses are working very closely with their partners in Azerbaijan," the minister said.
