Azerbaijan and Italy discussed the cooperation issues in defense industry sphere.
Azerbaijani Defence Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Azerbaijan Giampaolo Cutillo, Defence Industry Ministry told Trend.
Jamalov wished successes to the Italian ambassador in his diplomatic activity and said that he appreciates the level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Italy.
During the meeting the Italian ambassador was informed about the creation of the Defense Industry Ministry and its activity.
Giampaolo Cutillo expressed his gratitude for the sincere receipt.
The issues of common interest were also discussed in details during the meeting.
