By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakhstan's government appointed Tahir Balykbaev to the post of vice-minister of education and science, Kazinform reported.
This decision was announced by Education and Science Minister Aslan Sarinzhipov at the meeting in the ministry on November 13.
Tahir Balykbaev will be responsible for high education, science and youth policy.
Balykbaev earlier served in education management positions. Since 2007, he has been heading the Committee on Education and Science Oversight and Certification under the Kazakh Education and Science Ministry.
