The issue of cooperation was discussed between Azerbaijan with North Atlantic Treaty Organization anti-terrorism coalition at a regular session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Vilnius.
NATO highly appreciates Azerbaijan's contribution to the mission in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kosovo, member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the NATO PA, MP Malahat Ibrahimgizi said.
NATO sees Azerbaijan as a reliable partner, according to Ibrahimgizi.
Azerbaijan's participation in the "Afghanistan in 2014" project is highly appreciated, she said.
Holding of the NATO`s following "Rose Roth" seminar in Azerbaijan indicates the importance that the alliance pays to the country, according to the Azerbaijani MP.
The session exchanged views on important issues, such as the Ukrainian crisis, the current situation in Ukraine and further processes. Furthermore, the spring session will discuss energy security, Ibrahimgizi said.
