The parliaments of the member-states of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA) are preparing for the seventh plenary session scheduled for December 8.
TurkPA Secretary General Jandos Asanov, chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament Oqtay Asadov, chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Ismail Kahraman and chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh (parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic Chynybay Tursunbekov held talks upon the initiative of chairman of the Majilis (Lower House) of the Kazakh parliament, TurkPA chairman-in-office Nurlan Nigmatulin, TurkPA told Trend Oct. 3.
The issues related to the TurkPA program and the agenda of the forthcoming plenary meeting were discussed during the talks.
