Within the framework of the 3rd Azerbaijan international defense exhibition ADEX 2018, held in Baku Expo Centre, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has met with the Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and the Deputy Minister of Defense for Armament-the Chief of Armament of the Armed Forces of Belarus Major-General Sergei Simonenko, the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said in a statement Sept. 25.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of development of military and military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus, the possibility of using modern military technologies, exchange of experiences and other issues of mutual interest.
On the same day, Hasanov met with the delegation led by Deputy Minister of National Defense of Turkey Muhsin Dere.
The issues of regional security, the main directions of military relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the development of cooperation in the military, military-technical, military-educational and military-medical spheres, the organization of mutual visits of expert groups, as well as other issues of interest have been discussed at the meeting.
