Slovak official: Baku forum gives opportunity to achieve common goals

The Baku Forum on Sustainable Development creates an excellent opportunity to achieve common goals, the Deputy Prime Minister of Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatization Richard Rasi said Oct. 25 making a speech at the forum.

Rasi noted that the Sustainable Development Goals can be achieved through partnership.

Rasi added that all concerned parties should be involved in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

“By attracting representatives of non-governmental organizations, scientists, the private sector, we have defined a priority in this direction. We must cooperate at the regional, national and global levels,” he said.

The Baku Forum on Sustainable Development is being held as part of the International Humanitarian Forum.

The 6th International Humanitarian Forum began its work in Baku today. More than 580 representatives from 86 countries and 24 international organizations participate in the forum.
