SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, May 6. An award-winning French chef and TV presenter Cyril Rouquet expressed his happiness about being a part of the First International Culinary Festival in Shusha, Trend reports.
"This is my first visit to Azerbaijan, and I’m happy to attend such a significant international event in Shusha. I’m discovering the beauty of this magnificent city and its surroundings. It’s very valuable for me to share this moment with the Azerbaijani people, and it’s not hard to guess the importance of Shusha for every citizen of the country. I’m in love with Shusha and continue to research the city's ancient history and culture," said Cyril Rouquet.
The First Shusha International Culinary Festival is organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the State Tourism Agency. The festival is being held on May 5-8 with the participation of expert cooks from Germany, Austria, China, France, Georgia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Turkey, Japan, Belgium, Czech Republic, Canada, Republic of Korea, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, and other countries.
Various economic regions of Azerbaijan are presented at the festival.
By participating in the master classes of professional cooks, guests will have a chance to learn fine points of preparing dishes. Visitors will also be presented with an artistic program of over 100 masters of art. Concerts and exhibitions will be organized at the pavilions set up in the rest and entertainment zone.
