BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has met with Minister of Labor and Social Security of Türkiye Vedat Ishikhan, the press service of the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers told Trend.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that Azerbaijani-Turkish friendly relations are thriving in all spheres. The importance of the 11th meeting of the Joint Standing Commission on cooperation in labor and social protection between the two countries, held in Baku, was underscored.
The discussion focused on details of Azerbaijan's state policy on labor and employment, along with the ongoing social reforms within the country. The conversation also covered measures of social support for families of martyrs and veterans in the post-war period, including efforts to enhance their living conditions and advancements in medical and social rehabilitation. Gratitude was expressed to the Turkish side for their support in the treatment of veterans.
Additionally, opinions were exchanged during the meeting regarding the potential development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection.
