8 ISSUES PUT ON AGENDA OF CIS SUMMIT IN KAZAN

The agenda of the special summit of the Council of CIS countries’ Heads of State scheduled for 26 August envisages 8 issues, Trend reports.

Draft resolutions on improvement and reforming of the CIS bodies, agreement on humanitarian cooperation of the CIS countries, statement on marking of the UN’s

60th anniversary, appeal to the peoples of the CIS countries world community on the 20th anniversary of the accident at the Chernobil Atomic Power Station, Ukraine, will be put on the agenda.

The heads of states are expected to sign some documents without consideration as they have previously been unified and approved at the meetings of the Council of Heads of State and Ministers of Foreign Affairs, as well as the CIS Economic Council.

The documents concerns cooperation in struggle with terrorism, counteraction of illegal migration for next years, conception on military cooperation, cooperation in struggle with terrorism and other kinds of extremism.
