The representatives of the Azerbaijani embassy in Switzerland participate in 2-day discussions of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) started in Geneva on Tuesday. Attending the discussions on the politicy related to migration will be representatives of 116 member-countries, the IOM Baku representation told Trend. The discsussions is around impact of national and interstate migration policy on formation of changeable demands of global labor market.
Branson Makkinly, the Director General of the IOM, underlined importance of application of migration policy in all level and distribution among countries on parity base. According to Makkinly, it is time to take into consideration migration policy in such spheres as trade, health, safety and human rights.
