The newly appointed Ambassador of the People�s Republic of China, Jan Khai Jho, the fifth to Azerbaijan, will come to Baku next week, Sun Veydun, an adviser of the Chinese embassy in Baku, told Trend.
According to Veydun, the new Ambassador is a career diplomat. Until recent appointment he worked as Deputy Director of the East and Central Asia Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry. Azerbaijan is the first country where he will work as the Ambassador.
Chian Siyun, the former Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan, left Azerbaijan early October in connection with the accomplishment of his diplomatic tenure in Azerbaijan.
