Azeri deputy FM participates in a meeting of CEAP foreign ministers

Araz Azimov, the Deputy Foreign Minister, is currently attending a meeting of the CEAP foreign ministers, which started in Brussels on Wednesday on the level of foreign ministers from member countries and partners, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry announced.

The foreign ministers from the NATO member countries and partners met to mull the key issues of transatlantic political problems and the way forward for NATO and Afghanistan. The ministers also discussed the exploitation plan on NATO expansion. Under the meeting of CEAP it is planned to hold NATO вЂ"Russia and NATO-Ukraine talks.

The gathering will discuss the cooperation in 2006, exchange of opinions on international situation, including a range of issues on Afghanistan, Iraq, Balkan states and Near East, as well as integration of the partner countries in the organization.
