Nizami Bahmanov: Possible involvement of Nagorny Karabakh communities heads in talks at PACE level not to rule out

Possible involvement of the Nagorny Karabakh communities heads at the talks at the PACE level is not ruled out, the head of the Nagorny Karabakh Azerbaijani community, the head of the Shusha executive power Nizami Bahmanov told Trend exclusively commenting on the negotiation process progress, in particular, the forthcoming sitting of the PACE sub-committee on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

В"The 1416 PACE Resolution on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict envisions carrying out measures for integration of the Nagorno Karabakh Azerbaijani and Armenian communities and within this context invitation for the communities leaders from CE to participate in the dialogue is quite expected. There exist such ideas, Bahmanov noted saying that for today such an initiative is not disclosed so far. According to him, negotiations within PACE frameworks are positive for Azerbaijan.

At the same time, Bahmanov appreciated highly the current negotiation process within PACE, reminding the situation with refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the South Caucasus was discussed recently. В"The deputy from Netherlands Leo Plattvoed is appointed rapporteur for prisoners of war, hostages and missed people in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone to the PACE Committee on migration, refugees and population.

He will arrive in the region soon and carry out investigations in accordance with the list of the Azerbaijani and Armenian prisoners of war, hostages and missed people and to prepare later the report for PACE, Bahmanov was quoted as saying.
