Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Azerbaijan late February 2006. Several important documents on a range of spheres of bilateral cooperation are scheduled for signing during the visit, Trend quoted Abbas Abbasov, the First Deputy Premier, as stating to the local television channel ATV.
The agenda of the visit includes many issues, in particular, the organization of national exhibitions, a meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani economic forum, Abbasov stressed. He also noted that a meeting of the intergovernmental commission economic cooperation was scheduled for 20 February.
Abbasov also noted that a positive reply by Moscow on the appointment of Bulbuloglu as the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia will assumes a particular importance for the development of the bilateral relationships.
