Musavats Council addresses party candidates participating independently in the repeating elections, assistant chairman of Musavat, party Arif Hajili told Trend.
The statement urges them to withdraw their candidatures in favor of unified candidates of the party. Noticeably, two party members (Tahir Pasha and Gurban Gurbanov) have decided to participate in May 13 2006 elections independently. Despite the Councils decision, they did not withdraw their candidatures in favor of the party single candidates.
Hajili stated, that if the above mentioned candidates will not respect the party Council` s decision they will be excluded from the party ranks. He also said that negotiations are conducted with these persons. They have two ways out: either they will withdraw their candidatures or they will be excluded from the party. This question has to be solved in the course of 2 days, he concluded.
