Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to the United States, Trend reports in reference to Radio Liberty.
It will come as the first official visit of the Azerbaijani president to the United States after the 2003 presidential elections the visit is rapid at the invitation of the White House.
Aliyev is scheduled to have a meeting the US President, George W.Bush in Washington. Details of the forthcoming visit will be discussed during Mammadyarovs visit to the United States.
On 7 April the Azerbaijani FM will meet with the US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice. Mammadyarov plans to hold talks with Senator Sam Brownback, the co-chair of the Helsinki Commission on Human Rights of the US Congress.
The same day Mammadyarov will deliver a report in Heritage Foundation in Washington.
