Azeri president Ilham Aliyev on June 29 received the chief of Headquarter of Armed Forces of Turkish Republic army-general Hilmi Ozkek, Trend reports.
According to Aliyev, at present, the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey is at a very high level and is strengthening. Joint activities are realized on various international questions and very serious international projects are carried out. In Aliyevs opinion, in this context, the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey is of great importance.
Since the restoration its independence, Azerbaijan has always felt the support from Turkey which plays a great role in the formation of professional army, told Aliyev.
Aliyev highly assessed the role of Hilmi in this process. Taking into consideration the service of chief of headquarter of Turkish armed forces, Aliyev awarded him order Honour.
