Cuma mosque imam to keep protesting Israeli attacks on Lebanon

Religious people in Baku will keep protesting Israels attacks on Lebanon, Trend reports quoting Ilgar Ibrahimoglu, imam of Cuma mosque.

Ibrahimoglu told Trend last week he had addressed the Executive Power of Baku city to lead a peaceful action of protest but the city authorities rejected his address, advising him to express is protest in media. For this reason on July 26 people arranged a picket in front of Israeli Embassy, 8 people were apprehended by police.

Imam said two of picketers had been fined in police station and six warned and released.
