Azerbaijan calls for the world public to understand the position of Armenia in the peaceful regulation of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Head of the Press and Information Policy Department of Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry Tahir Tagizade told, commenting on the statement of Armenian President Robert Kocharyan that in case of war, the victory will be achieved through the spirit of the people and battle of the Armenia Army, Trend reports.
We propose to the Co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group and the World to observe who is in favour of a peaceful resolution to this conflict, Tagizade stressed. He considers that Kocharyan's statement is directed towards internal demand.
It should be mentioned that during his speech in the opening ceremony of the Republican Forum Armenia-Diaspora, the President of Armenia Kocharyan made biting statements, according to which the national priorities should be considered to make all Armenian efforts for internationally recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh and the existence of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
