Experts on Border Demarcation and Delimitation between Azerbaijan and Georgia to Begin in Baku on 10 Oct  Azeri Deputy FM

Khalaf Khalafov, the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, also the Chairman of the State Commission on Delimitation and Demarcation of Borders between Azerbaijan and Georgia informed Trend exclusively that on 10 October experts of the working group on delimitation

and demarcation of borders between Azerbaijan and Georgia will meet to mull the uncoordinated borders.

After a two-day meeting of the working group the heads of state commissions on delimitation and demarcation of borers between Azerbaijan and Georgia will meet in Minsk on 15 October 2006 as part of a next meeting of CIS Council of Foreign Ministers. The gathering will clarify exact date of the meeting of the state commission which will coordinate 180km-section.

During the last meeting of the commission for the first time over the past 10 years the Azerbaijani-Georgian border section with length of 200km was coordinated. In 1996 a 98km-territory was coordinated.
