The two-day official visit of the President of Romania Trayan Basesku to Azerbaijan concluded on 12 October. The Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and other senior officials saw off the Romanian President in the international airport, Trendreports.
On the second day of the visit, the Romanian President visited Baku State University and made a speech before the teacher-student staff. Basesku was awarded with the diploma of Honored Doctor of the Baku State University. Thereafter, he visited to Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani Parliament] and met with the Speaker Oktay Asadov. In addition, the Romanian Head visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
