On October 30, the co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Andreas Herkel and Tony Lloyd, met with the low-defenders and NGO heads in the PACE Baku Information Center, Trend reports.
Law-defender Zardush Alizade stressed at his interview with journalists that the meeting focused on the situation of democracy and human rights in the Country.
Law-defenders N.Jafaroglu and S.Gojamanli informed Trend that the meeting with the co-rapporteurs covered the situation of human rights in Azerbaijan, freedom of speech and political prisoners.
