A protocol on political consultations will be signed between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Kuwait. The Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kuwait, Shahin Abdullayev, exclusively informed Trend that the document will be signed during the forthcoming official visit to Kuwait of the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov on 20-21 January.
The diplomat said that at present the programs and agendas of the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister's meetings are being agreed upon. Mammadyarov is expected to hold top level meetings, especially with the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Nasir al-Muhammad al-Ahmed al-Sabah, Chairman of the National Assembly, Jasem Muhammad al-Kharafi and heads of various ministries and state bodies.
The main topic of negotiations will be the prospect of bilateral co-operation in many spheres. The parties will organize debates on positive areas of co-operation such as energy, economy, culture and humanitarianism.
