Azerbaijani President Interviewed by Germany's Leading TV Channel

Azerbaijan's President, Ilham Aliyev, who is currently paying an official visit to Germany, has held a meeting with the Mayor of the German Capital, and also been interviewed by Germany's leading TV channel, Deutsche Welle, Trend reports referring to ANS TV Channel.

Today, the Azerbaijani President is also expected to hold a meeting with leading politicians of Germany and then meet chiefs of Germany's largest companies, who belong to the Eastern and Central Society of Germany.

In addition, in the afternoon, Mr. Aliyev will meet Franc Walter Steinmeier, Germany's Federal Foreign Minister and then the Head of the German Bundestag.

In the evening, the Azerbaijani President will meet representatives of Azerbaijani organizations working in Germany. Late in the evening, the Azerbaijani leader is expected to deliver a speech on the topic of Azerbaijan in 21st Century: Development and Perspectives at the Conrad Adenauer Foundation. Representatives of different political and business circles of Germany, members of the German Bundestag, officials of the German Government and representatives of the public are expected to take part in the gathering to be organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy.
