Azerbaijan, Baku /corr Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Arif Hajily, the Head of Party's Apparat [Administration], informed that the nomination of candidates to the Majsli [Assmebly] of Musavat is complete.
Over 70 people were nominated for 28 vacant seats at the Majlis. On 31 March the Majlis will hold voting by secret ballots to vacant seats.
Opposition party Musavat was founded in 1992. Isa Gambar, the present Chairman of the Party was the Ex-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) in 1992-1993 and a candidate of the 2003 Presidential elections held in the country. Five MPs represent the Party in the Azerbaijan Parliament.
