Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. Z.Safarov / The Azerbaijani women volleyball team came last in the 'E' group in the European Championship in Belgium and Luxemburg.
In the first round the players who are coached by Faik Garayev defeated the Belarus team. Later the Azerbaijan volley ball players lost to the German and Italian teams. They will now play against the Russian team on 25 September, then against France and Turkey in the first match of the second round group.
