France, Strasbourg / corr Trend A.Maharramli / Tony Lloyd, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan, will be replaced, MP Samed Seyidov, the head of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation to PACE, said.
PACE rapporteurs to Azerbaijan were Andreas Herkel ( Estonia) and Tony Lloyd (UK). Following the end of his term Lloyd's authorities were stopped. Herkel told Trend in a telephone conversation from Strasbourg that a replacement of the rapporteur was because of L1loyd's busy schedule in the British Parliament.
Seyidov said that the new rapporteur will be appointed in October. After the new appointment the Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs will tour Azerbaijan at the beginning of 2008.
