Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The Head of the Social-Political Department of Azerbaijan President's Executive Apparat, Ali Hasanov, briefed the media on 9 November that unfortunately, today certain internal and external religious and other organizations in Azerbaijan want to involve the population in the religious confrontation.
According to him, currently the activity of such structures is widening. They try to influence on the life style of people and misuse their trust. "We can not keep closed eyes on the issue that the radical, religious flows want to divide Azerbaijani society," Hasanov said.
According to him, the religious tolerance in the Soviet countries does not mean that various political and public organizations should attract people in actions, using their religious belief.
In addition, Hasanov said that the State Committee for Work with the Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan and other organizations take measures in accordance with the religious situation in the Country. We will not give an opportunity to anybody to misuse the religious trust of the citizens for economic and other goals.
