Contest on Vacancies for Thirty State Bodies to be Announced in Azerbaijan

К.Zarbaliyeva / About thirty vacancies for state bodies will be announced at the second quarter of January 2008, the chairman of the Commission on State Service Issues Bahram Khalilov stated during the press-conference. According to Khalilov, the Commission held 3 contests on 772 vacancies for state service in 55 state bodies of Azerbaijan for 2007. Some 186 people passed the contest out of 3,655.
Speaking about dissatisfaction among candidates due to the interview, Khalilov said that the Commission is planning to make the interview more transparency. Journalists, NGOs representatives may attend at interview. The chairman of the Commission said that necessary of 3,154 people was collected.
The only register of state officials will be developed by the end of 2008. Khalilov said that the set of proposals to the bill in the sphere of state service of Rules of assessment of functioning of state officials. The both documents were submitted to the Presidential Executive Administration.
