Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan, 23 January / Trend corr. E.Mammadov / The legalization process of summer pastures was started in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan, Valeh Valiyev, the chairman of the State Land and Cartography Committee of NAR, reported.
The State program on rational use and prevention of desertification of summer and winter pastures was passed. The program was approved by the order of the chairman of the Supreme Assembly of NAR from 27 May 2004.
According to Valiyev, the registration process has been completed. The legalization process will be completed by the end of the year.
About 178,011 hectares of plot have been under the state registration, 301,777 hectares - municipality, and 56,512 hectares - private property.
