Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 Augugst / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Agasalim Mirjavadov, coach of the Azerbaijani Football club Khazar-Lankaran, resigned from his position. This was told Trend by Mirjavov on 1 August.
"I resigned from the position after the match with the Polish Lekh club. I do not feel offense and express gratitude to the club management," the coach said.
Khazar-Lankarn won the Azerbaijani Cup under Mirjavadov's coaching in the last season. The reason for Mirjavadov's resignation became the lost of the match with Lekh and UEFA matches - 0:1, 4:1.
Mirjavadov owns the Slava order and has been taking the coach position in the club for two years.
Oktay Derelioglu, former footballer of the Khazar-Lankaran club and Turkish National team, is expected to replace Mirjavadov.
