Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 August / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Khetag Gazumov, an Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler, gained a bronze medal in the Beijing Olympic Games. He defeated Georgi Tibilov, a Ukrainian sportsman.
The Azerbaijani wrestler, who fought with the Ukrainian sportsman, did not give him any opportunity for victory. Gazumov contested in 96kg weight category. It was the first medal of Azerbaijan gained in freestyle wrestling.
At present Azerbaijan had one gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
