Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 August / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Rashad Ahmadov, Azerbaijani taekwondo player, lost semi-final in the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Rashad lost wrestling to Iranian sportsman with 1:4. So, Ahmadov lost his chance to gain golden and silver medal. Ahmadov will perform for bronze medal.
Before semi-final, Ahmadov defeated sportsmen from Qatar and Canada.
Azerbaijan has gained seven Olympic medals: one golden, two silvers and four bronze.
