Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 September/ Trend , corr J. Babayeva/ The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Environment of Czech Republic have signed memorandum of understanding on environmental protection. The memorandum was signed by Huseyn Bagirov, minister of ecology and natural resources of Azerbaijan and Jan Dusik, minister of environment and deputy prime minister of Czech republic.
"The memorandum calls for exchange of events, experience and information between the two countries. Several Czech companies will render financial assistance in installing water purifying units in Azerbaijan and projects on cardboard wastes and global warming will be worked out," Dusik said.
So far, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has signed memorandum of understanding on environmental protection with Georgia, Turkey, Iran, Moldova and Ukraine.
