Azerbaijan, Baku, 8 October / Trend corr. I.Alizade / The state of Azerbaijan's press, political pluralism, democratization, civil society and economic development will be discussed at forum in Baku.
The 'Democracy in Azerbaijan: goals and calls' forum will be held in Baku on 10 October. The U.S. International Centre of Journalists stands the initiator of the forum.
"The goal is to create conditions to hold discussions on important issues. Diplomats, officials and journalists are expected to attend at the forum," Charles Race, representative of the International Centre of Journalists in Azerbaijan, said at the conference.
Erige Shvartz, an expert from the International Centre of Journalists, said that there \were many issues that irritate Azerbaijan. "However, our top goal is to discuss three spheres - economic development, political pluralism and civil society," said expert.
