Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 November / Trend corr. I.Alizade/ The clerical leader of the Caucasus Muslims hopes operation of the Abu Bakr mosque will be resumed as soon as the investigation is competed.

"A grenade blast entailed victims in the Abu Bakr mosque. Azerbaijani law-enforcement bodies are investigating the crime. The explosion of a hand grenade thrown to Abu Bakr mosque, in which the religious community of the Narimanov District believers operates, by unknown man at 8.50pm on 17 August 2008 killed two and injured 19.
